Lung Fung Charitable Foundation distributes free “peace rice”
On August 14, the Lung Fung Charitable Foundation held a distribution event for “Peace Rice,” giving away 1,000 cases each of Peace Rice and Merlin brand luncheon meat for free at its Hing Lok Fong branch in Sheung Shui. The event was well-received by local residents who hoped to bring home some good luck and pray for good health and safety.

Last month, when the weather turned bitterly cold, the Lung Fung Charitable Foundation ❄️donated 100 insulated cups to the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Po Chung Old Age Home, hoping to bring a little warmth to the elderly! First deployment in 2020—the volunteer team “Community People”
Following their earlier donation of food to Green Food Party and the Qi Xi Fu and Liang You campaign, the Long Fung Group’s registered volunteer team, “Community People,” visited a local nursing home last month. They played games and sang and danced with the elderly, spending two warm and happy hours in the cold weather. On that day, the “Community People” sent about 15-20 volunteers, and also invited celebrities Jiao Haoxuan, Chen Junjian, and Li Junyan to help out, singing, exercising, playing games, and more with the old friends. The one who made everyone laugh the most was our mystery guest—the God of Wealth! In addition to handing out gifts, the God of Wealth also wished the old friends an early New Year, wishing everyone good health and happiness. Lung Fung Group distributes free masks and hand sanitizer throughout the city
The novel coronavirus outbreak has been fierce, and there has been a persistent shortage of face masks on the market. In view of this, Lung Fung Group actively contacted suppliers of all sizes and, after several days of arrangements, distributed 9,000 face masks and Walch hand sanitizers free of charge to the public daily in different locations in Sheung Shui and Fanling on January 10 and from January 13 to 15, 2020. The entire event lasted four days, and all the planned supplies were successfully distributed to the community. In addition to the hard work and arrangements made by Lung Fung employees and the enthusiastic sharing by netizens, we also sincerely thank the media for their coverage, which allowed more citizens in need to learn about the details. For this, Lung Fung Group once again expressed its gratitude and pledged to continue to do its best to give back to the community, fulfill its corporate social responsibility, and bring positive and healthy impacts to the community and its citizens.
